North Cove Marina has been called "Monaco on the Hudson" -- and with good reason.
Like the ridiculously tiny (Monaco is only 2 square km) and ridiculously wealthy sovereign city-state located near France on the Mediterranean coast, North Cove boasts a marina packed with yachts, sailboats and picturesque views.
Of course, North Cove doesn't have quite the array of embarrassing vessels that Monaco does, but the gorgeous slip located just in front of the World Financial Plaza certainly does hold its own.
Even if you're not one of the rich and/or famous lucky enough to be skipper of your own ship, there's no need to fret: Manhattan Sailing School will teach you how to master the high seas (or at least the Hudson) with a lesson on its aptly named "floating classroom."
