The Downtown Club is a converted athletics center turned condominium with 138 residential units. The building was converted in 2006 after having a long legacy as The Downtown Athletic Club.
The original club was founded in 1926 and included swimming, miniature gold, squash and tennis courts as well as dining rooms and living quarters within the original building. The Downtown Athletic Club was more well known as the original home of the Heisman Trophy and would hold the annual event in this location.
